“Part Mr. Rogers, part Bob Ross, part jumpy-castle party, the show quickly attracted viewers from over forty countries, all excited to draw with host and #1 New York Times bestselling illustrator (plus social worker and professional goofball) Wendy MacNaughton, aka “Wendy Mac.”

Born out of the Covid-19 pandemic school closures, Draw Together is an interactive art class and learning universe. Composed of videos, podcasts, and activities, Draw Together uses drawing to grow curiosity, wonder, emotional awareness, and confidence in kids around the world. Also included: resources for parents and educators, and the occasional silly dance.

DrawTogether Classrooms is a non-profit program that uses art to grow hearts in learning spaces around the world. They empower learners to develop curiosity, creativity, confidence, and connection through high-quality drawing-based experiences. And they empower educators to support those goals by offering a variety of resources and activities.

HOW THE BLACKWING FOUNDATION IS HELPING

In the early days of Draw Together, Blackwing Foundation provided Ignite the Arts Grants to DT Studio for the purposes of making the Draw Together content and Art Materials Kits available to schools hoping to implement their program. Most recently, Blackwing Foundation has provided additional Ignite the Arts Grants to provide ongoing, one-on-one support to educators using the Draw Together Classrooms programming and curriculums around the world.
